School and Community

•    School:
Specific Spanish and/or Catalan language and culture courses for families moving to Barcelona. Kids, teens & adults, the whole family.

•    Community:
Weekly activities for adults and kids:
-Mamas & babies for mamas with babies/toodlers, 0-3 years (Catalan or Spanish). Saturdays, 10 am.

-Pedra, paper, tisores for kids, 3-6 years (Catalan). Thursdays, 5 pm.

Occasional activities for adults and kids:
-Saleta literària/Salita literaria for little GREAT readers, 6-10 years (Catalan and Spanish). Saturdays, 11.30 am (once per month). Fully booked! If you are interested, please let us know.

-Salón literario for adults with level B2 or higher and also native speakers (Spanish). Saturdays, 5pm (every two months).

-Workshops about Barcelona for adults (Spanish). Unspecified schedule. Depending on demand.

New developments for this academic year 25-26:
- The school only provides specific Spanish and Catalan language and culture courses to families moving to Barcelona.
- The children's reading club (ages 6-9) will take a gender perspective, reading in Spanish and Catalan about important female figures in history from the beautiful Pequeña & Grande collection.
- The adult reading club (level B2, advanced or for native speakers) is dedicated this year to the theme of MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS.
- The school newsletter will no longer be monthly and will only appear when the school has something important or interesting to say related to the Spanish and Catalan language and culture.
- And finally, whenever possible, the school will prioritise face-to-face classes, looking each other in the eye without screens, in our beloved neighbourhood of Poblenou in Barcelona.
